Sum of the Summer
Well, its official. Summer has ended, and the wait for next summer has begun. This past summer went by quickly for me, as I was engrossed with my new job and spent a great deal (probably too much) time in the office. Before I knew it, it was Labor Day and summer was turning to autumn.
My summer was highlighted by a few events, the most notable being my attendance at Rage Against The Machine's performance at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wisconsin. To say this was the best concert I've ever seen is true, but is ultimately a gross understatement of how great an experience the entire night was. The day's events definitely deserves its own post at some point, and would have already gotten one if I wasn't so busy and lazy.
Regardless, the summer of 2007 was a good one, but it could have been much better. But as usual, the forthcoming harsh Chicago winter will give me plenty of time to reflect on what to do differently when the summer of 2008 arrives.
